lmran was born and raised in Dadu. He was a rickshaw driver until three years ago, when he had an accident in which he lost a lot of blood. However, he recovered and started working again. He soon started facing health issues and visited a hospital in Dadu, where he didn't get proper treatment. Someone suggested he visit TKC. Doctors examined him and found that his kidneys have failed. He is now dependent on dialysis for the rest of his life. Due to his health condition, he is unable to work and lives with his brother in Karachi. Asma Anwer

Asma, a CKD patient since 2018, lived in Sukkur with her husband and four children. Initially she was getting treated in a hospital in Sukkur: however, when her disease progressed she was unable to afford the treatment. Her mother lives in Karachi and brought Asma to TKC for a consultation, where the doctors identified that both her kidneys have failed. Asma is getting dialysis done thrice a week at TKC. Due to her treatment, Asma had to relocate to Karachi with her family. Her husband, who was working in Sukkur at a grocery shop, is currently unemployed and looking for a job. Asma is dependent on dialysis for the rest of her life. As this is a very expensive treatment, her treatment is supported through welfare. ASMA IS IN DIRE NEED OF YOUR SUPPORT

Jameel Ahmed

Jameel has been coming to TKC for treatment for the last three years. He is suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease and both his kidneys have failed, due to which he is dependent on dialysis for the rest of his life. He has high blood pressure and diabetes, due to which not only have his kidneys failed, but he has also lost his eyesight and is unable to walk. His family lives in Shikarpur, but he is currently residing in Karachi with his brother as he is getting treated at TKC. Jamee l's brother works on a daily wage basis at a paint shop and earns barely enough to fulfil their basic needs. Sultan Sikander

Sultan Sikander was a 7-year-old boy who was diagnosed with urinary bladder cancer after experiencing worrying symptoms such as severe pain, vomiting, and urinary obstruction he was rushed to the hospital. It was difficult to imagine how his parents must have felt when they were told their child had cancer. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with cancer and received one year of Chemotherapy in a tertiary hospital before recovering from his life-threatening cancer. Soon after, he began complaining of urinary obstruction, and on the same doctor's recommendation, he was referred to The Kidney Centre (TKC) to have his Cystoscopy and B/L RGU performed, which is approved by TKC’s Urologist to treat his urinary obstruction. The patient's father is a rickshaw driver who is poor and suffering from his child's life-threatening condition. TKC Welfare Department is fully supporting this young boy because he aspires to be a pilot and fly higher in the sky like birds. Bachoo

NON ZAKAT HINDU PATIENT 26-year-old Bachoo is a renal kidney patient, who has been severely suffering from kidney disease for one year. He came to The kidney Centre (TKC) for his treatment when he found out that there is a welfare department that supports needy patients because he cannot afford the treatment expenses. Bachoo required immediate treatment because his one kidney was not working and nephrectomy (removing of kidney) was needed as soon as possible. If it is not removed, it may damage the other kidney. He is a father of 2 children, one is mentally challenged, and one is younger. He is a casual labour and earns Rs. 200-300/- per day. His treatment is undergoing by TKC’s best doctors. Uzair

Eight-year-old uzair rushed to the emergency with severe kidney pain and a high creatinine level was previously treated at a hospital near his home, but when his condition did not get stable their parents brought him to The Kidney Centre. His parents were unable to afford his treatment so they got support from TKC welfare department and the patient’s treatment started, a procedure was performed to ensure the urine would pass from the kidneys to the bladder and to reduce the patient pain was experiencing. The patient is now on the road of recovery. This patient is lives in Malir and is the eldest sibling of three brothers. His father is an auto-rickshaw driver who earns Rs 24000/- per month only and lives in a rented house. He needs your generous support to continue his follow up treatment at TKC. Master Umer

Master Umer is a one-year-old patient diagnosed with severe kidney disease of urine blockage at the age of 8 months only. His initial treatment was previously done at a private hospital but due to unaffordability, his father, Mr. Akber was unable to continue his son’s treatment. One of their relatives informed them about the TKC welfare support program which is provided to patients who are unable to afford the cost of treatment. Procedure was performed URS, PCCL and DJ insertion have been done to break the stone and remove the kidney obstruction. Master Umer visits TKC for his follow-up appointment with the pediatric urologist and his health is improving. We need your support for the treatment of patients such as Umer whose parents are unable to bear the expense of treatment of their children.

Master Junaid

A 7-year-old brave Patient Master Junaid is living in the area Shahnawaz colony in Karachi. His father died by a shot in an incident. His mother is the only bread earner of the family and works as a maid at different homes and earns 3000 per month. Master Junaid is a kidney stone patient. and was taking his treatment from homoeopathic but no improvement was observed even complications increases the risk of kidney infection. His condition was not getting well then their neighbours recommended them to visit TKC and they came to TKC welfare for treatment support. This patient is a needy patient and needs generous support and zakat for his treatment because Master Junaid himself want to get well soon. His dream is to join Army and serve for his country. Master Meraj Siddique

Master Meraj, a 13-year-old young boy grew up believing that he is somehow different from other children due to his paralyzation from an accident he is also suffering from severe Kidney problems. He had spent months on treatment at hospitals in Balochistan, where his case got worse, someone informed his father about The Kidney Centre. The patient’s father (Sadiq) brought his son to The Kidney Centre from Baluchistan after traveling for 9 hours because he wanted his son to get the best treatment and get well as soon as possible. His father requested for welfare support because he is a bus conductor and cannot afford treatment cost. Master Ibrahim

Master Ibrahim is a 4 months old patient suffering from severe kidney problems by birth as his body is not sufficient enough to produce urine. For this, his father brought him to The Kidney Centre on the recommendations of the doctors from Larkana to get kidney treatment. His father has a small easy load shop and earns up to 800 per day which is not sufficient for his child’s treatment. On the basis of his financial condition, the patient’s welfare support has been extended to him. We need your generous support to help this patient get kidney treatment and live a healthy life.
