The new Modular Operation Theatres Complex at TKC comprises of 6 Operating Theatres & a Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD). The Modular Operating Theatres are equipped with advanced features designed to optimize surgical operations, safety, and cleanliness. The Modular O.T. complex also houses the following key components:
- A Control Panel (The panel consists of a real-time clock, stopwatch, temperature & pressure monitor, sensors, medical gas alarm system, and OT control switches)
- Metal Walls and Ceilings
- Lighting Gear
- Surgical and Anesthesia Pendants
- Anti-Bacterial Flooring
- A Ceiling Mounted Laminar Flow
- An X-ray Screen
- A Surgical Scrub Platform

CENTRAL STERILE SERVICES DEPARTMENT (CSSD)
The Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) handles the sterilization, storage, distribution, and management of medical supplies and equipment to ensure patient safety across the hospital. Having the modular O.T. and CSSD on the same floor ensures prompt service delivery, enhances efficiency by improving coordination across departments.
