Pooja Krishnan, a 13 year old girl from Dadu is fighting with the kidney disease is getting treated at The Kidney Centre for past one year. Due to unavailability of kidney treatment facility, she travels approx. 350 kilometers from her village in Dadu to Karachi with her father. This travel of 8 hours costs her Rs. 6000 per visit per month. Her father is the only bread earner of the family who works on daily wages and earns Rs. 400 to 600 per day. He is unable to bear Pooja’s treatment expenses.
