Life hasn’t been easy for Muhammad Danish Ali – he was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2017. It was discovered when, suffering the Chikungunya virus, a urinary tract problem and vomiting, he was rushed to the emergency room and tested. He was listed as a dialysis patient under TKC “s Welfare Support.
Danish’s family underwent hardships too – his father had a small tea shop which was demolished in an anti-encroachment drive – the grief led to a long period of ill-health and an infect ion which cost him his vision. Now his mother is the sole provider of the household, caring for Danish, his father and his unmarried sister she stitches clothes at home to make ends meet.
