Faheem Mir Afzal Khan is 24 years old and has been coming to The Kidney Centre since 2 years for dialysis. At his job as an office boy, Faheem suddenly suffered severe stomach and kidney pain. He was rushed to the Emergency at a nearby hospital and was admitted to the ICU because his blood pressure wasn’t stable. Doctors recommended Faheem be shifted to The Kidney Centre. On admission to TKC, it was recommended that dialysis be started as soon as possible otherwise both Faheem’s kidneys will suffer damage.
Faheem is a deserving dialysis patient in need and cannot afford his medical expenses. He is the main earner in his family, and one elder brother is supporting him in his treatments.
In this trying situation, TKC provided welfare support to Faheem – today, Faheem works at his job while also coming in for his treatments.
