A dialysis patient since 6 years, now also a COVID survivor – 65- year old Akhtar Ali needs your help. Despite contracting  the  deadly  Coronavirus last year, Akhtar’s dialysis never came to a pause at TKC – instead, he was dialyzed under the SOPs adopted by the Hospital for  COVID-Positive  dialysis patients. Akhtar has had multiple renal issues since 2008 and is also hypertensive. Making ends meet is a great challenge – where he once used to be able to work and earn a modest salary, today Akhtar’s only means of survival is his meagre pension. Akhtar resides in a rented home in Liaquatabad, and his son, while pursuing his studies, also tutors to bring in a little income.

Help The Kidney Centre continue dialysis for Akhtar and others like him suffering a similar plight.
