The Kidney Centre Post Graduate Training Institute, a leading tertiary care Hospital, invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:
PATIENT SERVICES COORDINATOR
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and follow up on all outpatient and inpatient appointments—covering consultations, diagnostics, and pre-op assessments—while managing doctor availability, schedule changes, and tracking appointment statuses to ensure timely service delivery.
- Coordinate the patient admission process by ensuring documentation, insurance approvals, and billing estimates are completed, while liaising with relevant teams to streamline bed allocation and patient transfers.
- Coordinate and expedite OT scheduling in line with surgeon availability and OT slots, ensuring completion of all pre-operative requirements and acting as a liaison among surgical teams, anesthetists, and patient attendants for seamless OT operations.
- Collaborate with Nursing, Medical Records, Billing, and Housekeeping departments to ensure smooth workflows and patient transitions, while monitoring and addressing service delays promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, appointments, and service issues, and generate regular reports on patient flow, appointment adherence, and OT utilization.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Nursing, or related field. Diploma or equivalent experience in hospital operations may also be considered.
- 2–4 years of experience in a similar role within a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems and patient scheduling is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Individuals must have the ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work in a fast-paced environment.
