Dr. Sadaf Arooj passed her MBBS from Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur in 2002 by securing two Silver medals (1st Position) in Surgery & ENT. She completed her house job from Mayo Hospital, Lahore and started her FCPS part II training in Diagnostic Radiology. Prior to joining The Kidney Centre in 2015 as the Head of Radiology, she had the opportunity of working at various institutions in Pakistan including Services Hospital Lahore (SHL), Lahore General Hospital, CMH Quetta and Dr. Zia Uddin Hospital, Karachi. She completed her MCPS in 2007 and FCPS in 2009. She has published articles on various subjects.
In 2010 she started working as Senior Registrar, Radiology at Services Hospital Lahore and gained experience in doppler studies as well as cross sectional reporting. She interpreted Endoscopic Ultrasonography (EUS) with the gastroenterology team.
She was selected as Assistant Professor of Radiology at King Edward Medical University, Lahore in 2014 where she had the opportunity of teaching undergraduates (MBBS, BSc Applied sciences) and post graduates (DMRD, MCPS, FCPS and MD Radiology). She was selected as Supervisor and Examiner for MD and monitored the research program. Dr Sadaf completed her Supervisory workshops of CPSP and was rendered recognized Supervisor in August 2015.
She is a Member of Radiological Society of North America, Radiological Society Pakistan and PMDC. She successfully got structural formulation and implementation of Minimal Services Delivery Standardization (MSDS) at Services Hospital Lahore.
