The Kidney Centre organized a Health Awareness Session at Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Ltd. on their Health and Safety week for their employees. Ms. Fayza Khan, Dietitian TKC, talked about ‘Importance of Food Safety and Food Handling Practices in a Food Service System’ & ‘Diet and Healthy Lifestyle.’

The lecture was followed by an interesting question and answer session. Around 50 employees from Gul Ahmed attended the session, where they were informed about diet-related risk factors as well as the link between being overweight and chronic diseases.

The lecture also covered the importance of healthy diet and risks associated with poor lifestyle choices. Participants also learned how to maintain a healthy weight and manage stress at workplace.
